Many of us live in homes where the ceiling height is the same in every room. Often that height is also the same in every room of our neighbors’ homes as well—eight feet. All due to standardized wallboard. And kind of boring.
photo by jacobcyh I love wood. The natural warm colors and wavy grain appeal to the senses. Wood has a warm and gentle feel to the hand, unlike the coldness and flatness of metal or plastic. Of course, to use it in our homes it has to have straight edges. Or does it? |
